Upcoming Scheduled Classes

 

Introduction to Computer applications:

This is a four weeks course designed to introduce the students to computer as a tool, and current commonly used applications in a job environment such as (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access, MS Paint, etc…).

 

Prerequisites:             This course is designed for any person with a high school education who has never used a computer.

 

Course Duration:      This course is scheduled for four (4) sessions, meeting once a week on Saturdays and lasting three (3) hours each meeting for a total of 12 hours.

 

Tuition and fees:       Each student is expected to pay $25.00 for registration fee on the day they register, and $500.00 for the course fee must be paid on the first day of class. No other fees are expected.

 

 

 

Introduction to Computer and Business Applications Programming:

This is an eight weeks course designed to introduce the students to Object Oriented Programming and business applications programs. The programming Language used is Java, and below are some of the topics that will be discussed:

1                    Introduction to Computer

2                    Computer Memory

3                    Programming Concepts, etc…

 

Prerequisites:             Introduction to Computer application is required.

This course is designed for any person with a high school education or better, who can independently use a computer for a desired application.

 

Course Duration:      This course is scheduled for Eight (8) sessions, meeting once a week on Saturdays and lasting three (3) hours each meeting for a total of 24 hours.

 

Tuition and fees:       Each student is expected to pay $25.00 for registration fee on the day they register, and $1000.00 for the course fee must be paid on the first day of class. No other fees are expected.

 

 

Developing Enterprise programs using Java Classes (J2EE):

This is a ten weeks course designed to introduce the students Object Oriented Programming using Java in and the following techniques:

1        Struts

2        Jboss, Jbuilder, JUnit

3        Hibernate, Spring, XML

4         Tomcat, WSDL, UDDP, JParser, etc…

 

Prerequisites:             Introduction to Computer and Business applications Programming  is required.

This course is designed for Developers who can write application programs and are interested in better understanding Java and its applications.

 

Course Duration:      This course is scheduled for Ten (10) sessions, meeting once a week on Saturdays and lasting three (3) hours each meeting for a total of 30 hours.

 

Tuition and fees:       Each student is expected to pay $25.00 for registration fee on the day they register, and $1300.00 for the course fee must be paid on the first day of class. No other fees are expected.

 

 

Web Development:

This is an Eight weeks course designed to introduce the students Wed-based applications Programming. The following topics will be explored:

1        HTML, JavaScript, XML, XSL, XBLT

2        VBScript, CSS, Image, Photoshop

3        Micromedia, Dream, WSDL, UDDI, etc…

 

Prerequisites:             Introduction to Computer and Business applications Programming  is required.

This course is designed for Developers who can write application programs and are interested in better understanding Java and its applications.

 

Course Duration:      This course is scheduled for Eight (8) sessions, meeting once a week on Saturdays and lasting three (3) hours each meeting for a total of 24 hours.

 

Tuition and fees:       Each student is expected to pay $25.00 for registration fee on the day they register, and $1300.00 for the course fee must be paid on the first day of class. No other fees are expected.

 

 

Based on student’s enrolment, and the availability of instructors, all the above classes are scheduled to start on April 2nd, 2009. At this time, the classes now being offered are far advanced to accept new students.

3.                  Object Oriented Analysis and Design, and much more.
